Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Matt was raised to love everything sports. In Columbus pre-2000, Matt (as were many other kids) was primarily consumed by football (specifically OSU football). However, when the puck dropped on October 7, 2000, a new love affair blossomed. The Blue Jackets filled Matt with joy that no other sport had before. Matt has had full season tickets for the Blue Jackets since the 2000-2001 season. Countless memories of Blue Jacket moments, from spectacular goals to big wins, are still fresh in Matt's mind. Matt currently resides in Columbus and still attends a majority of the home games.
