Report: Blue Jackets to Host Red Wings in 2025 Stadium Series
The Blue Jackets have recently been rumored to be working towards an outdoor game at the Ohio Stadium next spring. It seems to be a nearly done deal at this point.

The Blue Jackets are headed outside! At least, if the rumors are to be held true - there is no official announcement from the team, the league, or even the Ohio State University.
But, the cat has seemingly been let out of the bag; with word yesterday that the game will take place at the Ohio Stadium on March 1st, 2025.

This is a long overdue event for the NHL and the Blue Jackets. The Jackets are one of just three teams (Florida and Arizona) to have never played in an outdoor game.
With one of the most storied stadiums in the United States, this just makes too much sense to have been put off for this long.
We'll stay tuned for an official announcement in the coming days. But I think it's safe to say that we can start getting excited for this one.
