Curtis Deem has followed hockey for basically his entire life, starting with the Columbus Chill of the ECHL around 1993. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, an avid supporter of the Columbus Blue Jackets since day one of their existence. Relocated to Spokane, Washington and spent 18 years out west, covering the Western Hockey League and the NHL Draft sporadically. Recently moved across the country again, this time to the Raleigh, NC area. Still live and breath everything Blue Jackets, with an enhanced eye on the NHL Draft and everything prospect-related.
