This year's draft takes place in Las Vegas. Round 1 will be held Friday, June 28th; starting at 7:00pm Eastern time. Rounds 2-7 will take place Saturday, June 29th; beginning at 11:30am Eastern.

Keep an eye out for trades throughout the weekend. The Jackets are rumored to be shopping their #4 overall pick pretty heavily, hoping to make a big splash under new GM Don Waddell.
Things really ramp up next week, with free agency beginning on Monday. We expect the Blue Jackets to be very busy, doing anything they can to reshape and improve their roster before next season.
