Columbus Blue Jackets: The Blue Jackets Dim the Stars 4-1
The Columbus Blue Jackets did WHAT tonight?!? That’s right folks the Blue Jackets scored a Powerplay goal tonight in their 4-1 victory over the Dallas Stars.
The Columbus Blue Jackets came out strong by scoring a powerplay goal towards the end of the first period and continued to play hard during the second to acquire a 3-0 lead. Although what is a Jackets hockey game without giving up a goal late, but the Jackets held on with an empty netter to seal the victory.
Even with a multitude of Dallas powerplays at the end of the third, Sergei Bobrovsky stood tall in net for the Jackets. The victory gives the Jackets their 8th win on the year, bringing their record to 8-6-1. Good enough for second in the Metropolitan Division.

What to Look for Moving On:
The Jackets played a solid 60 minutes tonight. With a powerplay goal, the Jackets need to work to make that a regular event and no longer a pleasant surprise. They need to keep pushing the gas like they did tonight because even when they’re even the slightest defensively sound, the Jackets are a great team. Currently sitting in a playoff spot, the Jackets need to keep winning to separate from the pack.
