The Columbus Blue Jackets are at home for tonight’s matchup against the Nashville Predators.
Looking to get back into the win column after an embarrassing 5-3 loss to the New York Rangers last night, the Columbus Blue Jackets host the Nashville Predators at Nationwide Arena.
The Preds, as you probably know, are coming off a Stanley Cup Final appearance last season, so the team is obviously very talented. Their 7-5-2 record isn’t great, but early season woes happen with some teams. And they have already addressed it with a trade, acquiring Kyle Turris from Ottawa in the three-team trade that also saw Matt Duchene finally traded.
There was no excuse for losing last night’s game at MSG, so there must’ve been some harsh words said by the coaching staff after blowing a lead in the final period, allowing three power play goals in the process.
Tonight must be a bounce-back game, at least morally, for the CBJ. If not, they risk going on a losing streak as they face all Eastern Conference foes for the next few weeks.
To-Do List: What does the CBJ need to do this week?
