The Columbus Blue Jackets will be visiting the Scottrade Center in St Louis for the first and only time of the season. Both teams have had hot starts and want to keep it going, however only one will be able to tonight.
The Columbus Blue Jackets have had a two game winning streak following their two game losing streak but tonight they will face a significant test against the St Louis Blues. The Blues are currently 8-2-1 coming into the game, while the Blue Jackets are 7-3-0.

The battle of Blue only happens twice a year with the teams being in different conferences, however it is almost always a great game to watch. While neither team has seen substantial success in the playoffs, the Blues seem to be a guarantee to make the post season annually; while the Blue Jackets are hoping to take the next step and have a successful playoff run for the first time in team history this season. The goaltending match-up for tonight has yet to be confirmed, however based off of the games last night; it appears the Blue Jackets will likely go with Joonas Korpisalo while the St. Louis Blues will more than likely start Jake Allen.
