The Columbus Blue Jackets newest sniper is going to wear #9 in his first season in union blue. Go buy your jerseys (sweaters) now folks.
The Columbus Blue Jackets newest sniper and hopefully newest All-Star has his new number. Artemi Panarin is going with #9 for this season.
Panarin of course wore #72 in his time with the Chicago Blackhawks. That number was taken by a guy you might have heard of, Sergei Bobrovsky.
Why #9? Because MATH!!! 7+2=9 so of course he is wearing number nine this season. The news was announced by his agent on Twitter.
Panarin jerseys are going to be one of the most, if not the most popular jersey for the CBJ this season. Go grab yours today.
Sergei in Twitter
Sergei Bobrovsky joined the weird world of twitter this offseason and has already given us some gems. From his opening video, to pictures of beautiful Lake Como, Bob is a must follow.
We are solidly in offseason workout video posting season in the twitterverse. Bob has joined this weird train and posted a video of him on the ice making saves.

The best thing about this is not the slo-mo save or even seeing anything close to hockey on your screen. The best thing here is Bob’s emoji use. I get the flexing arm. He’s working out and getting better so the flex works.

But what’s with the winky face? Is he mocking his enemies? Does the winky face mean something different in Russia? I’m so confused. Leave a comment on what you think the strange emoji is for.
