The next venue that fans should make a trip to is PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh.

The Columbus Blue Jackets head to Pittsburgh December 21st and December 27th. While these games are around the holiday season, there will not be much holiday cheer in these heated match ups.

Pittsburgh is Columbus’ biggest rival since the Blue Jackets and Penguins have faced off in the playoffs with Pittsburgh knocking Columbus out in each of these two match ups. This rivalry has grown organically with these teams and fan bases hatred growing with each match up.

It is no secret that Pittsburgh fans have come in droves to Nationwide for Pittsburgh’s match up with the Jackets. Fans of the Columbus Blue Jackets should give the Pens fans a taste of their own medicine.

Along with the hate that Blue Jackets have for the Penguins, Pittsburgh is not a long hike from Columbus. This is a much closer than the next destination on our list.
