The Columbus Blue Jackets will be entering their 17th season as a NHL franchise this year, so we thought it’s about time we celebrate the 17 greatest Blue Jackets. This list won’t be filled with the best players per say, but rather the most impactful, durable, and lovable Jackets in our minds.

One of the leaders of the Blue Jackets is next on our list. Alternate captain Brandon Dubinsky has been a member of the CBJ since 2012, when he was traded from the New York Rangers in the Rick Nash deal.
In those five years, Dubinsky has become a fan favorite of sorts in Columbus. A major part for this is his particular distaste for the Pittsburgh Penguins and their star player, Sidney Crosby. The other part of the fan love is the passion and grit that he brings to the ice each and every night.
To some, it may be seen as being dirty. That can certainly be the case in some situations, but overall, Dubinsky’s just a physical centerman that plays solid defense and is alright on faceoffs.
His stats have been solid since he’s been in Columbus. In 307 games, Dubinsky’s put up 195 points and has a +18 plus-minus. Additionally, he’s tallied two points in his five playoff games with the club.
Alright, that’s enough talking about Brandon Dubinsky. Let’s watch some highlights on the only man to fight both Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin.
