Moved to Columbus just before the announcement of the McConnell and Nationwide deal that led to the construction of the arena and the awarding of the franchise. I had never been exposed to the NHL before, having grown up in Dallas and left for college before the Stars relocated. The Blue Jackets have become a second home. Now my family marks time by hockey landmarks.Always loyal to the CBJ, but always more concerned about the name on the front than the one on the back. I try to see the long term picture and not get caught in the emotion of the moment.
