While you don’t have to bet on the Blue Jackets game, here’s my best bet for the matchup in case you do:
Best Blue Jackets vs. Hurricanes Bet
The Blue Jackets have won just once in their last 10 games, so I don’t feel comfortable backing them against a strong team like the Hurricanes.
Instead, I think we’re seeing an inflated total and feel comfortable backing the under 6.5 in this contest.
I do think we’ll see some goals, but 6.5 is too high based on Columbus’ offensive struggles. The Blue Jackets scored two or fewer goals in five of their last six matchups and the under is 7-3 in their last 10 as a result.
Each of the last two matchups between these teams went under the total as Columbus scored one total goal in that stretch.
Expect a similar result and take advantage of the cushion the high 6.5 total gives us.
