Red Wings vs. Columbus Blue Jackets: Date, Time, TV, Streaming, More
The Columbus Blue Jackets are hoping to end some of their recent frustrations tonight at home against the visiting Detroit Red Wings. Losing five straight games so far, the Blue Jackets are towards the bottom of the Central Division with hopes fading by the week that it might be another losing season.
Despite some rumors over the weekend, it appears head coach John Tortorella is safe for now when it comes to his job security. It’s no secret that when a team is playing as badly as the Blue Jackets, coaching changes can and will happen from the top down. Something has to change but it looks like the Blue Jackets will keep Tortorella in position at least for a bit longer.
The Blue Jackets are heading into tonight’s game with the exact same lineup from their unfortunate loss on Sunday to the Nashville Predators. Hopefully, this will work against another struggling team in the Red Wings so the Blue Jackets can finally end their losing streak. We’ll see if this helps the cause as Tortorella continues to stay set in his ways.
