Who have been the Columbus Blue Jackets most valuable players through 41 games this year?

The halfway point folks! Can you believe there regular season has hit the fifty percent mark? The Columbus Blue Jackets 4-3 overtime win in Florida was the 41st game of the year. Savor the games folks. Its downhill from here.

At my corps I’m an optimist and while there are some things are to be worried about, there is a ton to celebrate. The Jackets are on pace for 102 points which would be the second best in franchise history. The team is in a playoff spot and looking good to make the playoffs for the third year in a row. The team is healthy and the underlying numbers are fine. If this team could ever figure out the power play, this team will become a contender.

Who has been the best forward this year for the Jackets? What defenseman is on his way to a Norris nominee? What prospect has had the best first half? Lets give out some Union and Blue MVP trophies for the first half.
