October ends the same way it stated for the Columbus Blue Jackets. They will host the Detroit Red Wings for their final game in the opening month of the season. The Jacket need to take care of business against the Red Wings and end their relatively easy month on a high note.

Week Five Prediction: 1-0-0

The Jackets couldn’t have asked for a better schedule to start the season. They place plenty of squads that they should beat all while working out the early season kinks. Only one back-to-back and only one short road trip make October even nicer.

The Jackets will come out of the month of October leading the Metro Division and should be one of the top teams in the NHL. Look for the Jackets to finish the month off around the 17 point mark and a record looking something like 8-2-1.
