With Boston’s loss last night, the schedule is set for the Columbus Blue Jackets first round matchup.
The final game of the NHL regular season was on Sunday night forcing the Columbus Blue Jackets and the rest of the league to wait to see what their schedule would be for the Playoffs. A Bruins win would have made them the number one seed in the East and changed some times and dates. But the Bruins lost and the schedule is set.
The Jackets will open against the Capitals on Thursday at 7:30pm on USA network. The Jackets and Caps are notably the only series that doesn’t have a scheduled NBC broadcast out of the Eastern Conference matchup.
That doesn’t mean one if the series goes to seven games one of the final three couldn’t be picked up by NBC. Just that at the moment only USA and NBCSN are scheduled to air the games in the United States.
Here is the schedule for the first round.

It’s too bad for the fans in Columbus that they have no home weekend games scheduled for the first round. It would be amazing to see the city go absolutely nuts on a weekend for a playoff game.
