The Boston Bruins are coming off a crazy, heartbreaking loss in overtime on Saturday to the Los Angeles Kings. With less than a second left in overtime Tyler Toffoli dashed the Bruins hope of a win with a buzzer beating goal.

The 2-1 loss comes as the Bruins are getting starting net minder Tuuka Rask. Rask missed three games but came back playing very well. The Bruins were just not able to manufacture enough offensive to support Rask. Rask will be in net again for the Bruins tonight.

Brad Marchand is leading the team with 12 points in nine games. Seven of those points are goals which is also leading the team. Rookie Charlie McAvoy is leading the team in assist. McAvoy was the center of many Calder trophy conversations to start the year and is firmly in the race. His season is looking a lot like Zach Werenski‘s season last year.

The Bruins have incredible special teams this season. If the Jackets look to continue racking up points, they will have to stop the 5th best power play in the league. The B’s are converting at a 26.5% rate. They also have the 9th best penalty kill in the league.
