The Columbus Blue Jackets have had a record number of season tickets renewed. They are pushing for more.
The Columbus Blue Jackets are capitalizing on their on ice success last season. They have already seen record numbers of new season tickets purchased and a 96% renewal rate on past season ticket holders.
These sales are critical to the function of the team and bode well for the future of the organization. But the front office isn’t satisfied with just that.
The announced recently a season ticket holder referral program to further push the sales of these tickets. If a referral is made that results in a new ticket package purchased, the season ticket holder is eligible for up to a 15% discount on their plan.
This should push the numbers of season ticket holders up just a bit more. It’s looking like it will be the best season for attendance in Columbus Blue Jacket history.
The Athletic Hires Another CBJ Writer
The Athletic has another Columbus Blue Jacket writer on it’s staff. Tom Reed, formerly of the Columbus Dispatch, has announced he is joining the booming publication.
This is the second writer in as many weeks The Athletic has nabbed from the Dispatch. Former beat writer Aaron Portzline is working for The Athletic now as well.

More good content around the CBJ is always good in our eyes. As the Jackets continue to grow and succeed there will be more options for fans and we want to thank you for choosing to read Union and Blue.
