Good morning, CBJ fans! Welcome to the playoffs. Feels good, right? It should feel even better after a Columbus Blue Jackets win tonight against those dirty Pittsburgh Penguins.

There’s not much more to say anymore. 7:30 p.m. EDT is the time when it all gets real and our Columbus Blue Jackets take the ice again. Everything in the regular season is completely pointless now. At least that’s what I keep telling myself to stay positive.

The Penguins will be without Kris Letang but will be with Evgeni Malkin this series. I’d feel more comfortable the other way around but I don’t get to choose these things unfortunately. Zach Werenski will be back in action and Ryan Murrary and Lukas Sedlak are listed day-to-day. Hopefully, they both can get back by the weekend.

You can catch all the action still on Fox Sports Ohio or on the USA channel. Doc Emrick’s sultry voice will be guiding us through the game which is a true treat that I can’t wait for.

Forget the coffee! Kick off your day with some CBJ links.
