Good morning, CBJ fans! This is Playoffs Eve, so enjoy it. Tomorrow will begin a long journey of triumph, heartbreak, and every emotion in between for both our Columbus Blue Jackets and the other 15 teams in the NHL. Brace yourselves.

The Columbus Blue Jackets finished up their regular season Sunday night by breaking their six-game losing streak. With a comeback 3-2 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Jackets reached 50 wins for the first time in franchise history. Their win hopefully will be the thing to turn around the poor play that has struck them for the past few weeks.

Now it’s time for the playoffs. Screw the regular season; it doesn’t even matter now. All that matters is winning four games against the Penguins over the next week and change.

Forget the coffee! Kick off your day with some CBJ links.
