Camsanity Hot Wings

Ok, it really wouldn’t be a Super Bowl party without chicken wings! I don’t think that Camsanity would want his chicken wings anyway other than hot! Don’t play it easy and order chicken wings from your local pizza joint, take the chance and make them in your own kitchen, trust me, they will be a huge hit!

Sauce

  • 2 cups red hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp seasoning salt

YUmberger Mini-Sliders

The Union and Blue Super Bowl party needs a little more substance, that is why we recommend the YUmbeger Mini-Sliders! These little burgers bring the crunch! These mini-burgers may seem small, but they pack just the right punch, and won’t leave you hungry after the whistle blows!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pre-made slider patties or 1 lb. ground beef
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • sharp cheddar cheese slices
  • 6-8 slices bacon, cooked
  • bag of BBQ potato chips (whatever you prefer)
  • slider buns

Instructions

  • If you couldn’t find sliders already made into patties, begin to form the ground beef into mini sliders about 1/4 inch bigger than the buns. Warm a griddle or a grill pan on medium low heat. Season both sides of the burger with salt and pepper. Place the burgers on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  • When the burger is on the last side to cook place a half piece of cheese on the slider so it can begin to melt. Once the burger is finished, place on a bun, add bacon, and about 3-4 whole BBQ chips and serve. You can use whatever condiments you would like on your burger. But its that simple!

Bobrovsky’s Top Cop Doughnuts

Jan 10, 2014; Columbus, OH, USA; Columbus Blue Jackets goalie Sergei Bobrovsky (72) makes a glove save during the third period against the Carolina Hurricanes at Nationwide Arena. Columbus defeated Carolina 3-0. Mandatory Credit: Russell LaBounty-USA TODAY Sports

Every Super Bowl party needs a dessert, and I think the Top Cop in town has got you covered in this department! Doughnuts don’t have to just be for breakfast, they can also make for one delicious dessert! Not only do they look like little hockey pucks so you can be thinking of the Blue Jackets, but you can also add little white stripes and they somewhat resemble a football, isn’t that what this is all about?!?!

Ingredients

  • 1 box Funfetti Glazed Chocolate Lil’ Donut Kit
  • 1/3 C. butter, melted
  • ½ C. milk
  • glaze packet (from donut kit)
  • 3 Tbsp. milk (this is more than called for on the box recipe)
  • ¼ C. white chocolate melts or chips

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees and line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine donut mix, butter and milk.
  • Make dough balls the size of walnuts and roll them tightly. Gently pinch the sides to make a “football” shape and place on cookie sheets. Bake for 9-11 minutes and let cool.
  • In a small bowl, combine the glaze packet with milk using a whisk or a fork. (I use more milk than said on the box because I still want to see a dark brown color to get the football effect.)
  • Dip cooled donuts in glaze and put on a cooling rack to let glaze drip off.
  • Melt white chocolate and put into a small plastic bag. Snip off the corner and pipe the “threads” on the football. Wait for the chocolate to dry, then serve! Go team!

Fish Boll

This may be a little too fruity for a Super Bowl drink, but it really packs a punch! Every party needs a great drink though, and this cocktail is super easy to make! Simply crack open a couple bottles of vodka and then add some lemon-lime soda, simple and easy! Plus you can even make a kid friendly option, this Super Bowl party is kid friendly of course!

Adult Fish Boll

Mix

  • 750 ml bottle of blue vodka
  • 750 ml bottle of mango vodka
  • 5-6 cans of lemon lime soda and serve

Kid Friendly Mixture

Ingredients

  • 1 two-liter bottle lemon-lime soda, flat
  • 4 1/4-oz. packages unflavored gelatin
  • 2 drops blue food coloring
  • 2 oz. gummy fish

Directions

  • Place 1 cup soda in a large bowl. Sprinkle gelatin evenly over soda, and let stand to soften, about 5 minutes.
  • Place 2 cups soda in a small saucepan over medium heat. Heat until just before a boil. Add the softened gelatin, stirring to dissolve the gelatin completely over the heat, about 2 minutes.
  • Remove from heat. Add the remaining soda and food coloring, and stir to combine. Pour the liquid into the fish bowl. Using a damp paper towel, carefully remove any bubbles that have formed on the surface. Transfer to the refrigerator to chill overnight.
  • When ready to serve, use a sharp knife to make vertical slits in the gelatin; insert the fish in a random pattern to make it look as though they are swimming in the bowl. Keep refrigerated until serving. Serve within 6 hours.
