Ok, it really wouldn’t be a Super Bowl party without chicken wings! I don’t think that Camsanity would want his chicken wings anyway other than hot! Don’t play it easy and order chicken wings from your local pizza joint, take the chance and make them in your own kitchen, trust me, they will be a huge hit!

Sauce

  • 2 cups red hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp seasoning salt

Wings

  • 4 pounds chicken wings (I used all drumettes)
  • salt
  • pepper

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 400°. Line a baking sheet with foil and set rack inside. Place chicken pieces on rack and season with salt and pepper. Bake for 30 minutes. Flip wings and cook 15-20 minutes longer, until chicken is crispy.
  • Meanwhile, whisk together ingredients for the sauce. Transfer cooked wings to large bowl, add sauce, toss to thoroughly coat, and serve immediately with blue cheese or ranch dressing and celery sticks.
