Fedor Tyutin

Fedor Anatolievich Tyutin was born in Russia and was drafted by the New York Rangers in the second round in 2001. He played in the Russian Super League for SKA Saint Petersburg and in the OHL for the Guelph storm from 2000 to 2003. In 2003, he played for the Hartford Wolf Pack in the AHL, which is an affiliate of the New York Rangers.

Tyutin played his first NHL game in February of 2004. His first goal came in March of 2004 against Roberto Luango. He played for Team Russia in the 2006 Olympic Games. In July of 2008, he was traded with Chirstian Backman for Nikolai Zherdev and Dan Fritsche to the Columbus Blue Jackets. During the shortened 2012-13 NHL Season, Tyutin had 22 points and 28 penalty minutes.
