Union and Blue’s Three Stars: Columbus Blue Jackets at Dallas Stars

facebooktwitterreddit

The Columbus Blue Jackets are on a bit of a mini roll after starting the year off on the exact wrong footing, but have since rattled off two wins in a row, the most recent of which coming last night in a 4-2 victory in Dallas. It not only marked the return of Cam Atkinson and Mark Letestu, but also some performances worthy enough for our three star ranking. So, once again, here we go!

3rd. Its been way too long since 55 was on the ice, so I was contemplating putting him as one of our three stars anyway, but he scored the game-clinching goal to make it 4-2 late in the third period, and while he wasn’t on the ice a lot, when he was, he made his presence known. Letestu only saw 9:38 of ice time, but converted on his only shot of the game and won three faceoffs. Welcome back, Mark, and we can’t wait to see you night in and night out.. C.
