Union and Blue’s Three Stars: Columbus Blue Jackets vs. Boston Bruins

facebooktwitterreddit

Holy crap was that fun last night. The Columbus Blue Jackets were not only coming off an embarrassing loss to Nashville, but were going to be without their number one net minder in Sergei Bobrovsky, but did they panic? NO! All they did was force the Bruins back up goalie out of the game in the second period, score three goals on each goaltender Boston used and cruise to a 6-2 victory. What a fun night it was.

For the first time since we started this feature, there really wasn’t a clear cut top three players of the game. Heck, you could chose half the roster to fill one of these spots and you’d probably be right. But, here goes nothing, these are my three stars of the game – the guys who, if the Jackets didn’t have out there, they wouldn’t have won.

CURTIS MCELHINNEY. 3rd. I know. You’re flipping shocked. The man. The myth. The McBackup. <strong><a href=. G. Columbus Blue Jackets

KEVIN CONNAUTON. 2nd. On most any other night, the efforts put forth by <strong><a href=. D. Columbus Blue Jackets

SCOTT HARTNELL. 1st. …<a href=. LW. Columbus Blue Jackets

Alright, let me have it. Who should I have put in? Who should I have let out? Let me know in a comment below or on twitter @UnionandBlue.
