The 2014 NHL Entry Draft is almost upon us, and fans are starting to get anxious about what to expect come Friday. This year’s draft will be decidedly less exciting for Columbus Blue Jackets fans than the last two, since the only first round pick they have is 16th.

Nonetheless, the draft is still an exciting time. The Jackets have six picks this year, with the possibility of a seventh (see page four). Overall, the Jackets have the 16th pick (round 1), 47th pick (round 2), 63rd pick (round 3), 77th pick (round 3), 107th  pick (round 4), and the 197th pick (round 7).
