Have A Summer Full Of Columbus Blue Jackets Hockey
Summer is a wonderful time, especially in central Ohio, where we live under an inch of ice and snow for 5 months. The only downside I see to summer is that there is no Columbus Blue Jackets hockey for the 5th line to cheer on.
But wait! It is possible to fill your summer full of Blue Jackets related activities to keep you occupied until October.

Here is a shortlist of things to add to your calendars, so you can pack your summer with Blue Jackets hockey:
- June 27th/June 28th – The NHL Draft live from Philadelphia
- June 27th – Official Draft Party at Nationwide Arena – 6pm
- July 7th-July10th – Blue Jackets Development Camp
- August 23rd – CBJ Promo Team Auditions
- August 24th – Cannonfest 2014 (tentative date at this time)
- September 21st – NHL Preseason Begins
Also, keep in mind that there will be Front Street Fridays happening throughout the summer, but those dates have not been announced at this time.
Well, there it is. You now have things to look forward to until the 2014-2015 NHL season begins. As an added bonus, leading up to the draft should be some interesting moves. Also, there needs to be a resolution to the R.J. Umberger saga. See? Isn’t summer an exciting time to be a hockey fan?
