Columbus Blue Jackets: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

This past week in Columbus Blue Jackets shenanigans had some good wins and plenty of opportunities for memories.

The Good:

The Blue Jackets win over Washington It was an exciting game with a lot of goals. Alex Ovetchkin had his worst game ever and a kid gave Adam Oates moose antlers. Read about it here!

Derek MacKenzie’s recent hot streak He has had 4 goals in 5 games, which puts his point total at 12 for the season.  The energetic fourth liner was missed while injured. He provides something other fourth liners can’t.

Sergei Bobrovsky Since coming back from injury, Bob has been good.  He was pulled from one game, but everyone has bad nights.  Check out this save on Alex Ovetchkin from the other night. Pretty awesome!

The Bad:

The Olympic Break I don’t see this ending well for the Jackets.

Jared Boll and Marian Gaborik are skating again Some of you would say “that’s a good thing!” but not me.  The team has found success without them and neither one brought much to the ice when they were healthy. Who would you send down? Corey Tropp and Boone Jenner? Who would you scratch every night?  I’m not looking forward to their return.  Don’t agree with me? Let me know!

 The Ugly:
