Statistics are a major part of sports and help us determine how a team or player is progressing through a season. During the middle stretch of the NHL season, it is important to look at statistics and decide where the players and teams need to improve. The Columbus Blue Jackets currently sit with 26 wins, 21 losses, 4 overtime losses and are currently third in the Metropolitan Division (as of 8PM  1/26/14)

The streak has ended. But that doesn’t mean a new one can’t begin.  The Blue Jackets take on two divisional opponents and one conference opponent during the next week.  Let’s hope the game against Buffalo didn’t hit the player’s egos too hard.
