Columbus Blue Jackets End Winning Streak, Are They Contenders?: This article does raise some valid concerns; now that the Jackets appear to be contenders, they will face #1 goal tenders, and teams will take them seriously. Some regressions is also statistically expected. However, besides Saturday night Bobrovsky has been stellar for the Jackets. Sergei Bobrovsky Potential Breakout Star: Is it a coincidence that on the same day Bobrovsky has his worst performance in recent memory, he is featured in a Cleveland Plain Dealer article? All jokes aside, it is a great article on Bob and well worth a read. [ Cleveland Plain Dealer ]

College game ends in complete chaos: Instead of shaking hands after the final buzzer, RPI and Union decided to drop the gloves and start a line brawl (even the coaches got involved). Check out the video on Puck Daddy. [ Puck Daddy ]

Did we see the Isles black thirds for the last time?: Over at icethetics, they have a sample from the Islanders broadcast which suggest the much hated (and rightfully so) current third jerseys saw their last on ice action on Saturday. Instead, the Islanders will wear their new stadium series threads a few more times this season. [ Icethetics ]
