Have you seen the buzz going around on social media! Horton’s debut has been one of the most anticipated events of this season! The night could finally be here, as Horton is EXPECTED to make his debut tonight at Jobing.com Arena against the Phoenix Coyotes.

Last season Horton played 43 games for the Bruins and scored 13 goals and assisted on 9 goals for a total of 22 points. He brings notable NHL experience to the roster, playing almost 600 NHL games, and accumulating 402 points. If he plays tonight, Columbus will be the third team that Nathan suits up for in his NHL career – he also played for the Florida Panthers, and as mentioned, the Boston Bruins.

Horton will be sporting the #8 on his jersey, and in the eyes of Blue Jackets fans, has become the newest Great Eight! Expectations for the rest of the season will be high for both Nathan and the rest of the Blue Jackets. Horton’s shoulder and 6′ 2″ frame will hopefully hold-up under the pressure.

His large structure will be a welcome presence on the ice tonight, as the Blue Jackets have been suffering from injuries this season. Both Jared Boll and Derek MacKenzie have spent time on the injured reserve list, so Horton will have the opportunity to aid the physical side of the Blue Jackets game.

Welcome to the Columbus Blue Jackets Nathan Horton! Let’s Go Jackets!
