LA Kings and Anaheim Ducks Unveil Stadium Series Uniforms: After the Islanders unveiled their Stadium Series uniforms last week, the LA Kings and Anaheim Ducks did the same yesterday afternoon. Both contain some of the attributes of the Isles jersey (new style of laces, slanted numbers, crest sublimation), but have so far not been welcomed as nicely as the Islanders offering. Wayne Gretzky and NHL Make Good: One of the unfortunate situations surrounding the Coyotes decent into bankruptcy was the alienation of Wayne Gretzky by the NHL. Gretzky resigned as head coach of Phoenix, but was still owed millions. Thus began a multi year dispute over who would pay the Great One.
