Columbus Blue Jackets at Toronto Maple Leafs: Three Stars

John E. Sokolowski-USA TODAY Sports

The Columbus Blue Jackets had quite the game in Toronto against the Maple Leafs last night.  They scored 6 goals, 2 in each period, and Bobrovsky got the shutout! What a great way to end the Canadian road trip and erase the memories of Edmonton and Vancouver. *shudder*

Third Star: Ryan Murray

He is still the Blue Jackets most consistent defenseman.  He had his first multi point night last night with a goal and an assist!

Second Star: Ryan Johansen

With a three point night, Ryan Johansen definitely deserves the second star of the night.  He was dynamic, creating plays and scored 2 goals.

First Star: Sergei Bobrovsky

When a goalie gets a shut out, he always deserves a star.  While Bob didn’t play the most spectacular game of his career, he made some great saves and got his 5th shutout of his career.

Honorable Mentions:

Jack Skille – first goal with the Columbus Blue Jackets!

Dalton Prout – he played as a right wing on a line with Skille and Michael Chaput, and didn’t do a terrible job.  He also threw some pretty good punches.

Union and Bluers, we want to know what you think! Answer our poll below!
