Columbus Blue Jackets Vs New York Rangers: 3 Stars

After an embarrassing night of hockey last night, the Columbus Blue Jackets have a lot of work to do.

Third Star: Ryan Murray

He is currently the most consistent player on the team.  He scored his second NHL goal last night and played hard.

Second Star: Sergei Bobrovsky

If it weren’t for Bob last night, the Blue Jackets would have lost even worse.  He let in 3 goals (4th was an empty netter) but he made some great saves.  Check out 1:12, 2:15, and 2:35 of this video:

First Star: Brandon Dubinsky

He is not the star because of his play, he is the star because of his words.  Listen:

These are the words of a true leader.  During a pregame interview with NHL Live, he was asked what the Blue Jackets needed to improve on.  His answers were consistency, being proactive, and dictating the play.  I agree.

Come back to Union and Blue tonight to witness me eating my words about Brandon Dubinsky for captain.
