The Columbus Blue Jackets have a total of 9 players who will either be free agents, or restricted free agents after this season. This post will take a look at the Defenseman and goalie whose contracts will be expiring come the end of the 2013-2014 season. There are four defenseman, which includes Tim Erixon, whose contracts will expire at the end of the 2013-2014 season. Also expiring is the contract of the back-up goaltender Curtis McElhinney. Each player has the potential to hit the free agent/restricted free agent market, unless the front office decides to offer them a contract extension during the season or they sign a new contract before July.
