October 14, 1999 - The home and away jerseys were revealed to 4000 eager fans at Easton Town Center in Columbus.

October 12, 2000 - Kevyn Adams scored the game-winning goal and the Blue Jackets record their first win in franchise history over the Calgary Flames.

October 19, 2002 - The 58 game home sellout streak is broken. It started in January of 2001.

October 13, 2003 - The team’s third jerseys were revealed on Nationwide Plaza.  The team went on to beat the Vancouver Canucks later that night.

October 17, 2008 – Nikita Filatov and Jakub Voracek set a franchise record for fastest two goals scored vs. Nashville. They scored :08 apart: Filatov at 14:18 of the first period and Voracek at the 14:26 mark.

October 17, 2009 - Kris Russell signed a new 3 year deal.
