By now, August 16th, it is probably safe to say that most of the moves that would be completed during this offseason are done and over with. The Blue Jackets roster is set and mostly ready to go, other than the two possible additions, Murray and Jenner. This offseason has seen its ups and downs for the Blue Jackets, but in the end, the front office has done quite a job and turned most situations into positive ones.

In this post I will be grading the offseason in three categories; NHL Draft, Contract Negotiations, and Free Agency. A grade will be given out for each category, and then a final overall grade will be handed out as well. First up….The 2013 NHL Draft hosted by the New Jersey Devils at “The Rock”.
