Since becoming a NHL franchise in 2000, the Columbus Blue Jackets have made several changes to the jerseys they have worn on the ice. The initial jerseys saw some slight modifications before being scrapped for the Reebok Edge uniform system in 2007. In addition to their home and away uniforms, the Blue Jackets have also introduced an alternate jersey twice throughout the team’s history. Their first alternate debuted during the 2003 season and the other, their current alternate, was debuted during the 2010 season.

The team’s colors: Union Blue, Red, and White have always been a part of the team’s identity, but Black, Electric Green, and Silver have shown up as well.

In this post I will rank each of the Blue Jackets 8 different jerseys they have worn since their first season in the NHL. I will also highlight the various changes made during different uniform eras. All images are courtesy of sportslogos.net .
