Which First Round Draft Pick Do You Like The Best?

I know before the draft all you heard was three first round draft picks, three first round drafts picks. Well, now that Columbus has finally gone through the draft, which first round draft pick do you like the best?

It seems to me that Jarmo and JD had a pretty solid plan of how they wanted to use their draft picks. I think the three draft picks as a collective unit look great, but I can’t decide which one I like best.

Here is a quick recap on each player:

Alexander Wennberg, 14th Overall Pick:

Played center for Djurgarden of the Swedish League Second Division, scored 14 goals, and added 18 assists (32 points) in 46 games played.

Kerby Rychel, 19th Overall Pick:

Played left wing for the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League, scored 40 goals, and had 47 assists (87 points) in 68 games played.

Marko Dano, 27th Overall Pick:

Played center for Bratislava of the KHL, scored 3 goals, and contributed 4 assists (7 points) in 37 games played.

All in all, I am happy with the way the draft turned out. Taking three different types of offensive players was smart by management, not only did Jarmo pick who he thought was best, but he also filled in the needs of the team. I think we will see at least one of these three players soon in a Blue Jackets jersey, maybe even all three of them.
