The Chicago Blackhawks, and the Boston Bruins played another thrilling game in the Stanley Cup Final last night. This game was close to running into another overtime finish, but Dave Bolland solidified the win with an empty netter with less than 30 seconds left in the third. Before the third period even began though, it apparently was the Patrick Kane show. What has got into Patrick Kane? He is scoring huge goals at all the right times.
On the flip side the Boston Bruins were missing one of their stars for half of the game, and they felt it. Patrice Bergeron left the game during the second period and did not return.
“I don’t know how he feels right now … I don’t know if he’ll back next game or not, but we definitely missed him in the third period,” center David Krejci said.
Could have been a completely different game if Bergeron had not left with his injury. CausewayCrowd.com looks more in depth at the impact Bergeron’s injury had on the Boston Bruins.
The Hawks are 9-1 in Games 4-7 in the 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs
