With Bobrovsky winning the Vezina Trophy still fresh on fans minds, one could ask…is this the start of something great? In a previous post (Bobrovsky Wins The Vezina), I mention the question of  Bobrovsky winning more Vezina titles and continuing down this great path, but the real question is can this lift the franchise to whole new level?

The weight of Columbus may now be resting on the back of our elite goaltender? Sound familiar at all? Rick Nash had this same pressure, to be the face of a franchise comes great responsibility. The biggest difference now…Bobrovsky has a supporting cast. This may be the start of something great, but it can’t only be on the shoulders of one man. [BlueJackets.NHL.com]

CBJ Today on BlueJackets.NHL.com goes more in-depth about Bobrvosky’s path to winning the Vezina.
