The Morning Skate: 6/10/13

Well, we are on a temporary hiatus from hockey for a few days while the two teams take a sigh of relief and prepare. The Boston Bruins will make their way to the United Center to take on the Chicago Blackhawks for game one on Wednesday the 12th.

What to do until then……….? Catch up on sleep? Stock up on snacks/beer for the games? Don’t forget the coffee for the morning, you know, just in-case their are more double overtimes. One thing I have been doing when not being enthralled in the Stanley Cup Playoffs… is taking a gander at the Draft and all the great talent available for the NHL teams to select from. You can check out all the latest information on the Draft from NHL.com.

NHL.com has also been counting down the days until the draft, and each day they highlight a player in their NHL Dream Draft. Some of the payers that have graced the list so far…Mike Green, Corey Perry, Mike Richards, and Claude Giroux.
