Blue Jackets - Stars Preview

After a well played game against Chicago, the Blue Jackets look to end a four-game skid tonight against the .500 Dallas Stars. The Stars are coming off a competitive 4-3 loss to the St. Louis Blues.

Notes:

*Jamie Benn WILL make his first start of the season tonight. Jaromir Jagr will also be in the starting lineup for the Stars.

*Kari Lehtonen will get the start in goal for Dallas tonight, while Sergei Bobrovsky (pictured) will get the nod for Columbus.

*Colton Gillies will make his season debut tonight for the Blue Jackets.

Tonight is going to be a tough contest for Columbus. Like I stated earlier, Dallas is coming off a hard-fought loss and will be eager to get the win tonight. They are also getting key players back in the lineup, which will help their club tremendously.

It will be important for the Blue Jackets not to get rattled, and to play a composed game. Bobrovsky has played well this year. He will need to have a strong game again tonight for Columbus to stay in the hockey game.

More to come,

Ben Bean
