The Dark Blue Jacket had a great positive side post to the lockout Saving Us from Ourselves: Lockout 2012 The positive side being a chance for some of the young, and potentially future star, Blue Jacket players to further develop before coming to the NHL. the AHL will be augmented by all teams stocking their affiliates with with their potential young stars, making the AHL a super development league with no pressure or stigmatic feelings at being at the AHL level.
I have seen nothing about what the Blue Jacket Coaching staff will be doing. I hope they will be going around the country, checking the top prospects development and trying to assist them by making them aware of areas where they need to develop.
Hope you saw the Hub posting featuring the interview with Tim Erixon One thing it shows a little insight into the difference of being from North America vs Europe as far as affecting a player’s background and his life.
